Artist Statement
My art is a journey back to self—an exploration of emotion, healing, and connection. Drawing from my personal experiences and blending the Intentional Creativity Method™ with insights from Transpersonal Psychology, I create paintings, drawings and needle-felted sculptures that invite reflection and emotional release. These “energy pieces” are not just visual expressions; they are spaces for transformation.
Through colour, texture, and form, I offer a path for women feeling overwhelmed or disconnected to find peace, clarity, and reconnection with their authentic selves.
Art saved me, and I believe it holds the power to heal others too.
My story
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in my father’s art studio in Vienna, Austria, surrounded by paints, charcoal, clay and other art materials. While he worked, I’d sit nearby, playing with the same materials - except for his wood sculpting tools, which were strictly off-limits (much to my frustration!). Those early years were filled with curiosity and creative freedom, but everything changed when my father passed away during my childhood. His death left a deep mark on me, and without realizing it, I drifted away from the art that once felt like home.
For years, I stayed disconnected from that creative part of myself and, honestly, from my emotions too. It wasn’t until the birth of my daughter that I realized something had to change. To be fully present for her, I had to reconnect with my own feelings first. That’s when I found my way back to art. Painting became a lifeline. Through art, I found a safe, supportive space to process emotions I didn’t even know I was holding onto.
That’s why I believe, with all my heart, that art heals. It’s not about making something beautiful. It’s about giving yourself permission to feel, to explore, to release and heal. When I paint, I use the Intentional Creativity Method™, which helps me dive into my inner world and express emotions that words can’t quite capture. These paintings are “energy paintings” because they don’t just sit quietly on a wall - they hold space. They vibrate with the emotions, stories, and healing that went into them.
Over time, I’ve combined this creative process with tools from Transpersonal Psychology, which helps me go even deeper. As I paint, old memories, trauma, emotions, and beliefs rise to the surface. By putting them on canvas -through color, shape, and texture- I can see them clearly, acknowledge them, and start to let them go. It’s a process that has helped me through some of the toughest times in my life, and it’s one I believe can help others too.
Through creativity, we can find our way back to who we really are. Art saved me, and I strongly believe it has the power to help others heal too. Whether it’s painting, needle-felting, or quilting, each piece I create is a step toward freedom, peace, and emotional connection - not just for me, but for anyone who sees it and feels inspired to start their own journey.
My art is an invitation. My process is for anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves.
